Kellogg's
A family owned 24hr diner fights bankruptcy and gentrification in an ever-changing Brooklyn borough. I experiment with silence, staging, and images that provide dimension to overlaying voice overs. In the shot of Irene holding her certificate of historical preservation despite the foreseeable foreclosure, her smile contrasted by silence produces a deep sadness. This project had a strict two week time constraint and I hope to polish and expand on it in the future.
